Mezzo soprano Emily Geller Hardman has been teaching private voice lessons since 2008 in NYC and the surrounding suburbs. Ms. Hardman earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music under the Ruth S. Morse Scholarship, and holds a Master of Music in Opera from Binghamton University, where she received a full assistantship and was awarded the professional development grant. While at Binghamton University, Ms. Hardman designed and taught undergraduate "MUS143A: Beginning Voice for Non-Majors". She is a New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Vocal Judge since 2009 and became certified to judge at the All-State level in 2018. Ms. Hardman is an active member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). As a performer, she has sung leading roles with numerous regional companies, including Tri-Cities Opera, Opera North, St. Petersburg Opera, Natchez Festival of Music, Opera on the James, Mid Atlantic Opera, Loft Opera, Center for Contemporary Opera, and Taconic Opera.
